Star Trek - Kirk vs. Gorn

Well that's all my posts and I had nothing else to do so I have added a short clip to entertain you all. I hope that you have had fun reading all about my hardest journey ever staying in a car for 28 hours. Just a note to say that some of my posts have been posted wrong. The second last and third last post should be swapped around and I don't know how how that happened, but it just did so don't complain about how it makes no sense.

So I woke up at 3.00 am because it was realy cold and the wind was hitting the garage door all noght so it wasn't a very comfortable sleep. I also sleep strange so now my arm and necks hurts. When I woke up the light in the garage was flikering on and off and it was driving me insane so after about 5 minutes of me waiting to see if it would stop I called my dad who fixed it. My mum came in at 9.00 and gave me some breakfast which I didn't eat because I had no sleep all night.


Only 5 hours to go and I am realy bored, but also realy excited that I have been able to last 19 hours sitting in my car. I still have no internet connection so I have lasted 19 hours without the internet just sitting in my car. So far I have read a book watched some movies on my laptop and tried to sleep, but it doesn't help when your brother has turned the volume up on the tv so i can hear him play ps3 and watch TV when I can't.

It's done I gave up. I lasted for a little bit under 28 hours which i think is very good. It was fun, but I am glad that I'm not in it anymore. I think that I probably could have went for longer if I had a good internet connection and hadn't slept weird and didn't wake up at 3.00 in the morning then I could last 48 hours. But I didn't and i can't complain about anything besides I wasted a day of my life! Nah it was actually not that bad. I had some fun and I didn't think that I could do it at the beginning, but as I got closer to the 24 hour mark I was hoping nothing happened that would make me want to quit.


But overall I had fun and I warn you CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT!

Just a reminder that this is what I was going to post while in the car


At the moment I am sitting in my car. It's not realy that much fun and its cold, very cold. I have my iPod, laptop, food, drink, car keys and a walkie talkie to talk to the rest of my family. The internet connection I am getting is terrible and I only get a decent signal if I hold my laptop up to the roof in the back of the car. I couldn't record myself in here because it turns out that i got the wrong memery cards and they dont record very well so I tooks some photoes instead. I will be uploading the photoes when i can find the cord that goes into my computer.


The last time i checked what the time was it was 10.30pm and all my family was asleep because my stupid dog keeps everyone awake until 2.00am and if she sleeps then we all sleep because we don't know when she will wake up again. I am probably going to go to sleep soon after I finish watching this episode of top gear.


I will do another post in the morning when I wake up.

OK everyone has been asking if I have stayed in my car yet and YES! I have. I was planning on doing some posts while i was in the car but my internet connection was so bad that it took 20 minutes just to open up the internet home page, so instead I am going to post what I was originally going to post while in the car now. I lasted for about 28 hours a little bit less, but it was better than what I expected to last, I was only planning to stay in the car for 24 hours and then do 48 if I could, but not having any internet and so nothing to do I think that sitting in a car for 28 hours was pretty good. I think that if I had a better internet connection and so then something to do then maybe I could have stayed in my car for the whole 48 hours. I might try that one time when I have the time and when I have a better internet connection.

Well anyway that’s all I have to say and the next couple of posts will be what I was meant to post in the car if I didn’t have such terrible internet.

After some amount of talking with my parents I found out that on Saturday they are going to some work function and my parents friends kids are coming over for me to babysit and I am not allowed to be in the car while 2 kids under 10 run around the house being little kids and destroying everything. Also on other news I have decided to try go for 48 hours but my minimum goal is 24 hours. Just because I'm only going for 24 hours I will still try and go for longer. I had everything set up, but now i had to take everything away and it took about 2 hours to figure out how my brother got the seats out.

Ok as you can see above I have changed the day of my challenge, there isn't realy any reason why I have changed it. Anyway as the challenge is going to be next week I have got all the equipment that I will need, so far I have:


Sleeping bag
Laptop
Extension Cord
Car keys
Food
Drink
Phone incase I need something
Money to order food if I get bored
Camera to record


I am going to be recording for the whole 48 hours and I'm going to edit out certain parts. Incase you didn't know already I am starting on Friday the 13th at 6.00pm and will be finishing on Sunday the 15th at 6.00pm I will be on Facebook, MSN and this blog most of the time so that I can keep you updated with everything that is going on.

After a lot of planning and discussion I have decided that the 48 hour sitting in the car not leaving for anything marathon will start on the 20Th of August until the 22ND of August. I will start on Friday at 6.00pm and finish on Sunday at 6.00pm.

So far I have decided to take in with me a sleeping bag, my laptop, iPod and a video camera to record what I am doing. If you can think of anything else I could take please post a comment.

Last night I tried to make the shell of my boat and it didn't go very well. When I was trying to shape it I accidentally lit it on fire so now I don't have a shell for my boat. Having spent most of my money on the shell I can't buy anything else that I will need. So after some amount of thinking I have decided that it would be impossible for me to make my boat and make it work since I can't make the shell. After about 3 episodes of top gear and an episode of the IT crowd I have decided to do something else. That something else is going to be staying inside my car for 48hrs. I will tackle the task over one weekend. I will not be able to leave at anytime and I will be recording the entire thing from a camera mounted on the window.

Hi my names Ben and after thinking about what to do I have finally come up with the idea to make a remote controlled boat out of anything I can find. My main goal is to make a remote controlled boat, but if i can make the boat then I will try and make it the remote controlled boat and beat 20 Km/h. I will only be buying the battery and engine parts for my boat anything else I will have to get for free. If I beat my target of 20 km then I will try and beat 50 km/h.
